Three Card Poker or Craps Fan? |
If someone has ever played craps,
he or she is going to play this game once in a while for sure. Craps
rules
are very straightforward at the first glance, but there are few
preconditions, which one has to know well before going in for craps.
Craps odds have something imponderable, but definitely common with
three card poker.
In order to understand what is that, one has to take a closer look at
both. Odds in craps are very easy to calculate and remember till the
end of one's life: they are rolling two dices, giving thirty-six
combinations only; however, there may be eleven combinations from the
total point of view, i.e. from 2 to 12 and no more. Despite the fact
there must be at least five dice available for every next
shooter's choice, only two of them may be rolled at a time. All
these bits are limiting everything to 36 combinations with unevenly
distributed odds, i.e. probabilities. It would be simple, unless there
were not craps table and rolling and line bets. Knowing the latter of
the three helps a lot for any player at the table.
To be short, craps betting system requires understanding and this is
exactly the place where one can find its similarity to three card poker
rules
and hands and odds. Poker hands expectations can be considered like
line bets and odds in poker are calculated with the same probability
mechanisms as in craps. Which one to play depends on one's
mood
and habits. |
